Blepharoplasty is done as either upper eyelid or lower eyelid surgery or both. It is a complex procedure that requires great finesse and surgical skills. Mr Vahidi generally does this painlessly under local anaesthetic with a technique that leaves no puffiness or bruising.
The recovery time for upper eyelid surgery is generally fast with minimal scarring.
Lower eyelid surgery can sometimes require an incision under the line of the eyelash and is a more complicated procedure with a longer healing time. Depending on the age and skin an incision that is invisible can be done via the inside of the eyelid. This is sometimes described as ‘scarless, surgery because the incision is invisible behind the lower eyelid.
